"From signed agreement to first Boon in under a week: account, settings, texting number, bank, staff, launch."

Video narration script (ready to record)
You closed the deal. Here's exactly what happens next, so you can promise it with a straight face. Day one: the business gets its own company in the platform, plus a Merchant ID and a terminal PIN to sign in at the counter. We sit with the owner and set the three dials — earn rate and member discount in Business Settings, their first special in Reward Specials. A Boon's value isn't one of them: a Boon is one cent at every business on the network. Fifteen minutes. Texting. A business can add its own texting number, and once it's live the texting their staff do — the counter join link, replies to customers — goes out on it; Boonora's own member texts, the welcome and the PIN link and balance replies, always come from the shared network line. The carriers require a brand and campaign registration for that number — we file it under their legal name and EIN, and a clean filing clears in a few business days. Tell them a week or two end to end: their carrier account has to clear before we can buy the number, and a filing bounced on wording has to be rewritten and refiled. Bank. If the business will receive network payouts, the owner gets a one-time secure link to enter their bank details. Five minutes on their phone, with their EIN and bank numbers to hand — and Stripe's own verification can take a few days after that. Payouts then run on their own every Friday: redemptions clear a seven-day hold first, then anything from five dollars up lands in their bank, and smaller amounts roll forward. Staff. Two things to teach at the counter: how to sign a customer up — ask for their number and tap 'Text a link to join' on the terminal, or point them at the counter QR — and how to ring a member up — 'Run card / Boonora' to charge their card at the member price, or 'Spend Boonora balance' to let them pay with Boons, which the customer authorises with their own Card PIN. That's the entire staff training, and you walk their counter staff through both in about twenty minutes. Launch. They print their counter card and its sign-up QR from the portal — counter card, table tent or window decal — and their first special goes live on the network's specials board, where any member can browse it and claim it. Every redemption by a member who earned their Boons somewhere else shows up in Boonora Accounting; that's the number we review with them at week four.

Talking points

  1. Promise days, not weeks
Everything except carrier approval is same-day. Say so.
  2. Own the texting caveat
Carrier registration is out of anyone's hands for a few days. Tell them up front and it's a non-event; surprise them and it's a complaint.
  3. Make staff training tiny
Two actions. If a barista can learn it in twenty minutes, an owner will believe it runs itself.
  4. Book the 30-day check-in before you leave
It's where the renewal conversation starts.
