The written version

Your first week, in order

  1. Day 1 — log in and add your team Sign in at the staff portal, set your locations, and add staff with roles and pay rates. Everyone gets their own login; you control what each role can see.
  2. Day 2 — services, hours, and the calendar Load your services with real lengths and prices, set each provider's hours, and open your online booking page. Customers book as guests — no account wall — and the calendar, confirmations, and reminders run the front desk for you.
  3. Day 3 — clients and billing Import or add your client list. Every client has one file: contact, notes, visits, balance, cards on file. Send a bill by text or email in two clicks; take payment at the counter or by pay link.
  4. Day 4 — the register Set up your catalog and ring your first sale on the point of sale. Cash, card, or Boonora rewards — one screen. If you serve food, the kitchen display shows orders as they land.
  5. Day 5 — payroll and time Staff punch in and out from their phones; you review hours, approve, and run pay by check or direct deposit from your own bank. Your books stay yours.
  6. Week 2 — switch on Boonora Turn on the rewards network: set your earn rate and your first special, and let the other businesses on the network start sending you customers.

Welcome to The Business Lab. Until today, your business probably ran on five or six apps that didn't talk to each other — one for booking, one for the register, one for payroll, one for gift cards, one for texting customers. From today, it runs on one. Here's your first week. Day one: log in and add your team. Set your locations, add each staff member with a role and a pay rate. Everyone gets their own login; you decide what each role can see. Day two: services, hours, and the calendar. Load your services with real lengths and real prices, set each provider's hours, and turn on your online booking page. Customers book as guests — there's no account wall to lose them behind. The calendar shows your providers side by side, confirmations go out by text, reminders follow, and check-in runs itself. Day three: clients and billing. Bring your client list in. Every client has one file — contact, notes, visits, balance, cards on file. When someone owes you, send a bill by text or email in two clicks; take payment at the counter or through a pay link. Day four: the register. Set up your catalog and ring your first sale. Cash, card, or rewards — one screen. If you serve food, the kitchen sees orders the moment they're placed. Day five: payroll and time. Your staff punch in and out from their phones. You review the hours, approve them, and pay by check or direct deposit from your own bank account. The money never leaves your hands; the system just does the math. And in week two, switch on Boonora — the rewards network. Set your earn rate, post your first special, and let every other business on the network start sending you customers. Everything you just heard has a lesson in the Training Portal, with the exact screens. And your Business Lab team is one message away. Welcome aboard. Let's get your first week done.
